Embed a mystery box
Add up to 30 prizes, pick how guests open them, then paste the frame on a website or in PowerPoint.
Copy this embed
The link already holds this box.
Pixels for the script and the iframe. Default is 640 by 560. The PowerPoint link does not use these.
How to embed a mystery box
This page builds a mystery box you can paste. Set the prizes here, then copy a script for a website or a link for PowerPoint.
The frame is only the box. It does not include this page, the site header, or the footer.
Prizes
Each line is one prize, up to 30. New restores the default prizes and settings. The trash button restores the prize list only. Better Luck Next Time plays a short dull tone. Every other prize plays a three-note chime.
Play mode
Treasure Hunt is the default: each prize can be opened once, and the box stops after 3 opens. Single Box keeps one box you can open again. Multi Box shows several boxes so a guest picks one.
Result
Turn the result popup on or off. Card, Tape, and Chalk are the popup styles. Tape is the default. Play previews the style. Show header hides the title without deleting it.
Sound
Sound effects play a short tone when a box starts to open, then a chime when a prize appears. Turn the switch off for a silent frame.
Frame background
Choose Transparent, Brand, or a single color. That choice is stored in the script and in the PowerPoint link.
On a website
- Set the prizes, play mode, popup, and sound.
- Under Embed code, choose Script or iframe, then copy.
- Paste it where your page accepts HTML.
- Width and height start at 640 by 560 pixels. Change them before you copy. The frame shrinks to the box around it.
- Settings shows a button in the pasted frame. That button mutes the sound for this visit and opens the reveal history. Turn it off to hide the button.
In PowerPoint
- Copy Code for PowerPoint.
- Choose Insert, then Get Add-ins, and add Web Viewer.
- Paste the link and choose Preview. The box fills that viewer. The background and the Settings choice are already in the link. The script width and height do not apply.
After you paste
If you change the box, copy again and replace the old snippet. The pasted link keeps the setup from the moment you copied it.
For a developer
The Script block includes a function named winLog. It runs on your page after each open. Edit that function to use the prize. An iframe tag does not call it.
Photos, weights, and a saved share link stay on the mystery box.
