Name Wheel - Random Name Picker for Classrooms

Create your own wheel in seconds and make every decision fun!
Classroom & Education wheels are for teachers, tutors, and anyone running a learning group who needs a random pick everyone can see. You put names, groups, stations, or short tasks on the wheel and spin once-useful when the same few students always volunteer or when splitting a class feels unfair without a clear system.
Common uses include picking who answers next, presentation order, random teams of three or four, station rotations during a lab, and low-key reward spins (stickers, free homework pass, "pick the review game"). First names or nicknames usually read better on a projector than full legal names. If you teach more than one section, duplicate the wheel or keep a roster per class.
The spin uses secure browser randomness (crypto.getRandomValues on modern devices), and the animation shows the result landing-students watch it happen, which matters more than a name popping up in a tiny box. Past roughly 120 names, slices get hard to read; many teachers split a big roster into two wheels (period A / period B) instead of cramming everyone on one.
This category is for instructional picks, not birthday party games or sponsored prize draws. Use Party & Fun for social games, Giveaway & Lucky Draw for raffles and stream giveaways, and Team Building or Business & Work for adult workplace workshops. For a one-off name pick without saving a roster, the random name tool on the Tools page works too-saved and shared class wheels belong here.
