What is a truth or dare wheel?

A truth or dare wheel lands on a truth or a dare so nobody has to pick the next prompt. This one is for a teen sleepover. Put it on a shared phone, spin, read what comes up, then do it or skip. If a prompt does not fit your friends, edit it before you start.

Pass the phone around the room. One person spins. They read the truth or the dare out loud. They answer or they take the dare. Then the next person goes. You do not have to invent something while everyone waits.

Everyone can see the slices, so the wheel is choosing, not one person picking on another. After a prompt lands, turn on Remove Winner if you do not want that same truth or dare to come back.

Read the list once before the first spin. Delete anything that feels like too much for tonight. There is no penalty dare. If you want a quieter night, keep the truths and drop the louder dares.

Why we made this wheel

We made this wheel for sleepovers where nobody wants to be the person who chooses the next question. The prompts are kept short and easy to read on a phone, with light truths and simple dares that work well for a group. Every prompt can be edited or skipped, so the host can adjust the list before the game starts.

If this list is not quite right, edit it in the spin wheel editor and spin again. When you want a different game after this round, open more ready-made wheels or more Party and Fun wheels. Copy the wheel if you want the same prompts next weekend.

How to play with this truth or dare wheel

  1. Open the wheel and review the list. Read the default truths and dares. Edit or delete any prompt that does not fit this sleepover before the first spin.

  2. Spin and read the prompt. Click Spin. When it stops, the current player reads the truth or the dare out loud.

  3. Do it, skip, or edit, then pass the phone. Complete the prompt, skip it, or change that slice. Then the next person spins. Do not add a penalty dare.

  4. Turn on Remove Winner for the next round. If a used prompt should not come back, remove it before you spin again. Copy the wheel if you want this same PG list later.

When to use this wheel

Sleepover host on a shared phone

You are hosting overnight. Read the list before friends arrive and cut anything that does not fit this group. Then put one phone in the middle of the room and let people take turns until it is late.

Friend group in the same room

This is a hangout on the couch, not only a sleepover. Conversation has stalled and nobody wants to be the one asking questions. Spin so the wheel picks the next truth or dare.

Opening round when friends arrive

People just got here and the room is quiet. Do two or three quick spins, then stop and put on a movie or the next game. The wheel is only to get the night started.

Tips

  • Read every slice before the first spin. Swap anything that does not match this group.

  • Keep dares short, about two minutes, so the night does not stall.

  • If a dare needs leaving the room, swap it for something you can do in place.

  • Turn on Remove Winner so the same truth or dare does not loop.

  • Use fullscreen on a phone, tablet, or laptop so everyone can see the result.

  • Do not add photo, camera-roll, or social-post dares that put someone else on the spot.
