Friends at the couch: controllers on the cushion, character sheets on the table. This character wheel holds this game's fighters, or this table's classes. Edit the list or copy the wheel, then hit Spin. That name is who this seat plays.

Edit the ban list before anyone watches. If the group cannot select a name in this session, take it off. What stays on the wheel is what you can actually play.

Keep one roster. Fighters from this game, or classes from this table. A second game does not go on the same slices. On a class night, replace the fighter list. Do not add classes beside the fighters.

One spin fills one seat. The next seat needs a different fighter or class, unless the group already said mirrors are in.

Pick who this seat plays on this character wheel

Load this game's fighters, or this table's classes, and delete every other game. One roster only. This spin lands a fighter or a class, not a stage, a lane, or a die. If the title is not chosen yet, use a game night picker wheel first, then come back with one roster.

Ban the mains you will not play

Say the cuts out loud, then delete them. A main nobody will take comes off. A DLC pack this group does not own comes off. A class someone already locked comes off. Spin only after that pass. The wheel does not guess who owns which pack.

Spin a random character wheel for this seat

Hit Spin once. The name that lands stays with that seat. Leave Remove Winner on so the next seat cannot draw the same fighter or class. Turn Remove Winner off only when the group already agreed that mirrors are allowed.

Run this character wheel

  1. Load one roster. Put this game's fighters on the wheel, or this table's classes. Ken can share the wheel with Cammy. Do not add Paladin until you replace the whole list with classes.

  2. Strike the ban list. Before anyone watches, take off a main the group refuses, any DLC this group does not own, and any class already locked to a seat.

  3. Spin once. The name that lands is that seat's fighter, or that seat's class.

  4. Give the next seat a different name. Leave Remove Winner on. Cammy does not come up again unless the group already said mirrors are in.

When to use this wheel

Fighter match. The slices are this game's fighters only. Delete any name from another game before Spin. One spin assigns one fighter.

Class night. Clear the fighter names and paste classes: Paladin, Rogue, Wizard, Cleric, Ranger, Barbarian, Bard, Druid, Monk, Sorcerer, Warlock, Fighter. One spin assigns one class. Do not leave Ryu on that list.

Second seat, mirrors off. The first spin already landed Cammy. Remove Winner is on, so the next spin cannot land Cammy again. Turn Remove Winner off only after the group says mirrors are in.

Tips

  • One game per pass. If the session changes, replace the whole list. Do not stack a second roster under the first.

  • Unowned DLC does not stay "just in case." If nobody can select it, it is not a slice you can play.

  • A class that is already locked leaves the wheel before Spin. The open names are the only ones that should remain.

  • The default list has 14 fighter names. After the ban pass, that list is shorter. The shorter list is the pool.

  • For other wheels in this category, open Gaming and Randomizer wheels.
