Review policyPlug the DJ laptop into the ballroom projector during the cocktail hour lull. When two tables go quiet, the MC clicks Spin on this wedding game wheel. In under a minute the room sees the next toast, dance, or cheer, then you hand the mic back. No wooden prize wheel. No app.
How this wedding game wheel works at the reception
HDMI the browser tab to the venue screen, or put a tablet at the head table so guests can watch. Sixteen prompts are already on the slices: group photo with the couple, a 30-second toast, skip the glass clink for a cheer. Sit with the couple before doors and swap anything that does not fit this family or this humor.
Each spin uses your browser's built-in secure random function (crypto.getRandomValues). Slices still on the wheel have the same odds.
Turn on Remove Winner so a used toast or dance drops off for the rest of the night. Skip is allowed. If a prompt would not land well with grandparents or kids at this reception, edit it before the next guest walks up. Other event wheels: more Events and Festivals wheels.
This page is the reception pack you play tonight, not a catalog of every wheel. A different ready-made wheel: more ready-made wheels.
How to spin this wedding game wheel at the reception
Review the prompt list with the couple. Read every slice. Delete or rewrite anything that is not mixed-age safe for this reception before guests arrive.
Spin on a projector, venue TV, or tablet. Click Spin so the room can watch it stop. Fullscreen or HDMI the browser tab. No app install.
Do the prompt, or skip / edit. The invited guest or table does the prompt, skips it, or you change that slice. Do not add a humiliation penalty. Then keep going.
Turn on Remove Winner. Used prompts drop off so the same toast or dance cannot land twice tonight. Copy the wheel if the planner and MC need the same list.
When to spin: cocktail hour, between dinner courses, as a glass-clink alternative, or as a dance-floor starter. One shared link is enough for the planner and the MC.
When to use this wheel
Wedding MC with a mic
The dance floor is thin and the next speech is not ready. Project the wheel, invite one table, spin, read the prompt aloud, then hand the night back to the DJ.
Couple or planner at cocktail hour
Photos are still going. Put a tablet at the head table, spin a few rounds, and give mixed tables something kind to do while they wait.
Guest at a table on a shared tablet
The MC is busy. One table opens the same link, spins, and does the prompt without stopping the whole room.
Tips
Keep 8 to 16 short prompts. "Share a toast in 30 seconds" reads better on a projector than a long sentence.
Review the list with the couple before doors. Swap anything that does not fit this family or this culture.
Skip is allowed. Do not pile on a penalty prompt if someone passes.
Turn on Remove Winner so a long reception does not loop the same toast.
Use fullscreen on the DJ laptop or a tablet HDMI'd to the room screen. You do not need a wooden prize wheel to play.
Do not add drinking, karaoke, or bachelor dares to this list.
